House Mice
With the potential to cause serious damage to properties by chewing through wires and other materials in houses, although they are incredibly small these creatures should definitely be eradicated if spotted in a domestic or commercial property. Mouse-proofing your house can prove difficult as they can fit through tiny gaps, even the size of a 10-pence coin! However, sealing any gaps found to the exterior of a property and storing food in sealed containers will go some way to ensure you don’t have to deal with them.
Rats
Even more destructive than mice, rats can gnaw through almost any material – causing havoc in households. Although not as small and nimble as mice, they can fit through very small gaps and so it is imperative that any signs of rats are acted upon quickly and gaps are sealed using steel wire wool and expanding foam to dissuade further rodent activity.
German cockroaches
The most common of the cockroach species, these creatures love food and moisture. The places cockroaches thrive include kitchens (particularly behind appliances where it is darker and often warmer) and bathrooms.
