Keep Them Safe
Place glue boards where children, pets, and other non-target animals (like birds or cats) can't reach them. Glue Boards cannot be used outdoors.
Check Frequently
Since these are live traps, inspect them at least twice a day. If you can’t check them that often, remove the traps.
Place Strategically
Rodents often run along walls or room edges since they have poor eyesight.
Position glue boards along walls or in spots where you’ve seen rodent droppings or activity.
Let Rodents Walk Onto Them
Glue boards are low to the ground; they blend in so rodents will walk right over them and get stuck.
Do not add bait or food near the boards because it can make rodents more cautious and less likely to step on them.
Handle Catches Humanely
When you find a caught rodent, dispatch it quickly and humanely.
Accidental Contact Clean-up
If someone or a non-target animal accidentally touches a glue board, remove the sticky residue with vegetable oil.
Then, wash the area with warm water and a mild detergent.
Important Note: Under animal welfare laws, a caught animal is protected. Ensure that you handle and release or dispatch them in a humane way to avoid causing unnecessary suffering.
